Staff AWS Engineer

About the role

The Principal Cloud Engineer will play a key role in shaping the cloud strategy and delivering reliable cloud solutions at enterprise scale. This role offers opportunities to influence cloud strategy, solve complex engineering challenges, and mentor teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS services
• Design and implement Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications
• Automate infrastructure and application deployment processes using Terraform and Ansible
• Build and support distributed systems and microservices
• Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable cloud architectures

Requirements

• 8+ years of software or cloud engineering experience
• Strong AWS experience across compute, networking, storage, security, and observability
• Expertise with Kubernetes and container technologies
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other infrastructure automation tools
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Java and Spring development experience
• Knowledge of networking, DNS, HTTP, TLS, and Linux systems
• FinTech, payments, or banking experience
