Responsibilities
- Own the core autonomy software stack for MHE Vision products
- Design and implement perception, localization, and scanning algorithms for vehicle-mounted systems
- Document existing systems and plan for future revisions
- Collaborate with hardware and ML teams to enhance system performance
- Improve scan accuracy through algorithm optimization and sensor integration
- Diagnose real-world system issues and implement improvements
- Lead design enhancements and testing of the software architecture
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience in autonomy, robotics, or perception systems
- At least 3 years working on physical hardware in production environments
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python for embedded systems
- Hands-on experience with computer vision pipelines
- Experience in debugging deployed systems through log-based diagnosis
