Responsibilities
- Own the autonomy software stack for the company products including perception and inventory scanning pipelines
- Contribute to the design and architecture of product autonomy stack as it scales
- Document existing systems and plan for future revisions
- Design and implement algorithms for identifying and recording inventory locations
- Improve scan accuracy and coverage through algorithmic and sensor integration improvements
- Build and maintain systems that manage scan triggering and location mapping
- Collaborate with hardware and field teams to diagnose issues and implement improvements
Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, specifically in autonomy, robotics, or perception systems
- Minimum 3 years of experience building systems that run on physical hardware in production environments
- Proficient in C++ and Python, especially for embedded or resource-constrained platforms
- Hands-on experience with computer vision pipelines, including detection and localization
- Demonstrated ability to debug software on deployed systems using logs and field data
