Staff Attorneys - Litigation

About the role

Latitude is assembling a pool of experienced litigators to serve as Staff Attorneys - Litigation for an Am Law 50 firm handling high‑volume litigation. Candidates will assist the firm with its litigation portfolio, using AI to help manage and work up cases, and will handle approximately 20‑30 matters. The work is fully remote except for in‑person hearings, depositions, and similar proceedings, with hours that are full‑time or close to full‑time. Ideal candidates are comfortable handling cases from beginning to end and have experience or comfort using AI in litigation and litigation management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the firm with its portfolio of litigation matters using AI to manage and work up cases.
• Manage and handle approximately 20‑30 litigation matters.
• Handle cases from beginning to end.
• Attend in‑person hearings, depositions, and other proceedings as required.
• Work remotely, with occasional in‑person appearances for hearings or depositions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably at a highly‑respected large or boutique law firm.
• Experience with high volume litigation.
• Experience handling cases from beginning to end.
• Experience or comfort using AI to work up and manage cases.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of professionalism.
• Outstanding professional references.

Qualifications

• Bar admission in Florida, Texas, Virginia, or California.
• Contract engagement role.

Pay

• For candidates barred in Florida, Texas, or Virginia: annualized pay $150,000–$200,000 (full‑time basis).
• For candidates barred in California: annualized pay $200,000–$300,000 (full‑time basis).
• Pay is based on work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and candidate preference.

Schedule

Part‑time to full‑time hours; remote work except for required in‑person hearings, depositions, and similar proceedings.
