Staff Analytics Engineer (Remote)

About the role

This role will shape analytics engineering strategy across the organization, with a strong emphasis on modern data platform design, pipeline quality, and scalable execution. You will partner closely with technical and business leaders to establish guardrails, improve cost efficiency, and enable reliable data foundations that support smarter decision-making. The position also includes driving adoption of AI-assisted tools and automated workflows to improve productivity and strengthen the analytics engineering function.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of a migration to Snowflake
• Negotiate technical boundaries with leadership and set intake guardrails
• Manage Snowflake warehouse performance and cost governance
• Implement automated CI/CD testing gates to assure quality
• Drive organization-wide adoption of AI-assisted tools for efficiency

Qualifications

• 6+ years in analytics engineering, data architecture, or data engineering
• Experience with cloud data platform architecture and optimization, including Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery
• Expert SQL skills and Medallion architecture knowledge
• 2+ years using dbt for ELT pipelines
• Deep understanding of automated CI/CD workflows and git
• Proven ability to connect technical execution with business strategy

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually
