Staff AI Scientist, Foundation Models role supporting advanced AI modeling efforts for clinical and life sciences applications, with emphasis on multimodal data and research-driven model development. The position involves technical leadership, contributing original ideas, translating foundation model innovations into practical high-impact solutions, and collaborating across research, engineering, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure rigor and compliance in a highly regulated healthcare environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and contribute to model architecture and research direction
• Design and advance state-of-the-art foundation models using multimodal clinical data
• Develop applications for clinical and life sciences based on foundation models
• Contribute original ideas to advance the foundation model research agenda
• Ensure compliance with quality, validation, and regulatory standards in model development

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related quantitative field
• 3+ years of industry experience in end-to-end machine learning model development
• Expertise in large-scale deep learning and foundation model development
• Strong publication record in top AI journals and conferences
• Proficient in Python and modern deep learning frameworks like PyTorch
