Staff AI Scientist

About the role

The position involves developing and maintaining software systems that utilize artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve trust and safety measures in various applications. This includes working on projects related to abuse prevention, workflow scheduling, and trust building.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software systems using artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.
• Work on projects focused on abuse prevention, workflow scheduling, and trust building.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and design to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to the research and development of new AI and ML techniques relevant to the company's mission.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in full stack development, with a strong background in AI and ML.
• Experience with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other relevant frameworks.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and other database arch/Design tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience with observability tools and practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering successful AI and ML projects.
• Experience with reinforcement learning and semantic search.
• Understanding of ISO compliance and governance principles.
• Experience with low-fidelity prototyping and webinars.

Skills

• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other relevant AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, and other database arch/Design tools.
