Staff AI Engineer

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-native systems from prototype to production
• Make informed decisions about model strategies and technical approaches
• Define evaluation frameworks and enforce quality guardrails for model outputs
• Oversee model deployment and ensure reliability in production environments
• Contribute to all aspects of the stack to deliver complete AI products
• Collaborate with product and design teams to effectively frame project goals
• Stay updated on AI research and technologies to influence team practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building LLM-powered systems and AI applications
• Demonstrated capability in setting technical direction and making strategic model decisions
• Experience influencing cross-team collaboration and alignment on AI projects
• Proficient in model evaluation techniques and bias detection
• Solid knowledge of modern AI architectures, including transformers and diffusion models
• Production-level MLOps experience for deploying and monitoring AI systems
• Strong full-stack development knowledge for delivering user-facing AI products
• Exceptional communication skills for articulating complex concepts to various stakeholders

Pay

$250,000 – $280,000 annually
