About the role
Responsible for providing accounting support in a fast-paced environment. Key tasks include preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable/receivable, and assisting in tax preparation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable transactions, including processing invoices and payments.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents.
- Support departmental budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- CPA certification preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with QuickBooks and/or similar accounting software.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

Pay
- $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
