Staff Accountant II

Essential Functions

• Perform general accounting duties for both US & UK entities, including month-end closing activities
• Complete and reconcile in transit activity
• Aid with annual statutory audit requests and VAT management, completion, and filings
• Assist with backup responsibilities for Greenville entity as needed
• Handle various intercompany accounting transactions
• Collaborate with the operations team to resolve true-up issues
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including sub ledgers, and research discrepancies
• Complete various reporting requests as needed
• Adhere to all SOX requirements to ensure full compliance
• Liaise with auditors, including internal, external, and SOX audits
• Conduct special projects, including internal, division, and corporate requests
• Meet strict deadlines while performing all aspects of the position according to the PCC Code of Conduct

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Four years’ experience with multi-site accounting preferred
• SOX experience preferred

Physical Dimensions

• Must be able to frequently remain in a stationary position with repetitive hand motions
• Occasionally move about inside the office area to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer, copy machine, calculator, and computer printer
• Works primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential
• May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the office setting with minimal exposure to climate changes, uneven surfaces, heights, and noise
