Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain all credit card deposits and chargebacks.
• Reconcile store paperwork credit cards reported to actual received.
• Investigate and resolve customer disputes.
• Handle billbacks and work with customers to ensure prompt returns of funds.
• Reconcile and balance credit card receivables.
• Act as liaison between stores and credit card processor or trucker companies to investigate any discrepancies until resolution.
• Assist with credit applications and integration of new credit card processors when needed.
• Adhere to PCI compliance regulations.
• Handle accounts receivable as necessary.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
