Staff Accountant

A new elite sports and academics academy is set to open in 2026, offering professional-level training for middle school to post-graduate students on an expansive 82-acre campus. They are seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily financial operations as they prepare for launch.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices and payments, and maintaining financial records.
• Lead month-end close process and perform account reconciliations.
• Calculate, report, and file sales tax submissions.
• Provide training on financial systems and maintain vendor documentation.
• Prepare 1099s and manage cash applications related to deposits.

Requirements

• Degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• 2-4 years of experience in similar functions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
• Understanding of import/export of CSV files.

Pay

$75,000 – $85,000
