Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain the general ledger by reviewing and analyzing transactions.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements, investigating discrepancies as needed.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Support internal and external audit requests by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting software is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Special Requirements
U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) is required. This position requires access to information subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants will be asked to provide specific documentation to verify U.S. person status under ITAR and EAR. Some positions may require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
