Description

Safely stack, load, package, inspect, and move finished corrugated products throughout the production process.
Support efficient production operations by maintaining continuous product flow and minimizing downtime.
Monitor equipment performance and communicate operational concerns to operators, leads, and supervisors.
Ensure products meet quality standards through routine inspection and removal of defective materials.
Prepare workstations, equipment, and materials before production startup to ensure readiness.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in support of operational excellence.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production, quality, safety, and housekeeping objectives.

Requirements

  • Follow all safety rules, company policies, and food safety requirements to promote a safe and compliant workplace.
  • Prepare machines and work areas for operation, ensuring waste pallets, materials, and required personal protective equipment are available.
  • Monitor stackers, load formers, conveyors, accumulators, and related equipment to maintain efficient production flow.
  • Inspect finished products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Verify bundle counts and make adjustments as needed to maintain packaging accuracy.
  • Minimize waste by monitoring equipment performance and promptly identifying production issues.
  • Communicate machine adjustments and operational concerns to operators, leads, and supervisors to reduce downtime.
  • Perform sanitation and preventive maintenance activities according to established procedures.
  • Properly manage scrap, waste handling equipment, and required production documentation.
  • Absorb and assist coworkers and support departmental operations to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain clean equipment and work areas throughout the shift and at shift end.
  • Demonstrate ownership of workplace safety by identifying hazards and promoting safe work practices.
  • Support compliance with quality, sanitation, pest management, maintenance, food safety, good manufacturing practices, and product defense programs.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Manufacturing, production, warehouse, packaging, or industrial experience preferred.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials while following safe lifting practices.
  • Basic math and counting skills to verify product counts and packaging accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as business needs require.
  • Experience working with manufacturing equipment, quality systems, sanitation programs, or food safety standards preferred.
