About the role

Trinidad Benham Corp is seeking a Stacker to join our Packaging Operations team in Mineola, TX.

Responsibilities

• Packs the correct product and number of bagged products into boxes according to customer orders for shipment.
• Constructs boxes or containers.
• Stacks finished boxes onto pallets safely and efficiently.
• Places month sticker and product production tag on each pallet.
• Ensures supplies are readily available for the Packaging Machine Operator.
• Completes required paperwork such as pallet tags.
• Transports needed packaging materials to the production area.
• Breaks up unusable packaged product when required.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• During downtime, ensures the cleanliness of the work area and/or assists other machine operators.
• Affords assistance to machine operator with loading packaging material onto machine.
• Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms and safety policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced, labor intensive manufacturing environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Flexibility to accommodate unscheduled changes in duties and work overtime as needed.
