Stable Value Analyst
About the role
As a Stable Value Analyst, you'll gain hands-on experience across investments, retirement solutions, and client support. You'll work alongside experienced professionals to analyze data, support business initiatives, improve processes, and help deliver solutions for institutional clients.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to process efficiency improvements and innovation efforts by leveraging Excel, reporting tools, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and data quality
- Aid in the preparation and maintenance of analytical reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders
- Perform data analysis and research to support underwriting reviews, client requests, business initiatives, and operational projects
- Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments relevant to stable value products and retirement plans
- Partner with colleagues across Investments, Finance, Operations, Risk Management, and Technology to support business objectives
- Prepare market research, competitive intelligence, and industry analysis related to stable value products and retirement plans
- Build knowledge of stable value products, wrap contracts, investment strategies, and associated business risks
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field. 2 years+ of experience in financial services, investments, insurance, analytics, or a related environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment
Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, business concepts, and investment products
Qualifications
- Experience in Python, Tableau, SQL, or other analytical tools
- Exposure to LLMs and their related advanced tooling, Github, Databricks, etc.
- Familiarity with retirement plans, fixed income investments, or insurance products
- Progress toward or interest in professional designations such as CFA, ASA, or related certifications
Skills
Knowledge of stable value products, wrap contracts, investment strategies, and associated business risks
Benefits
Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location.
Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
