SSRS Report Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, and deliver custom reports of moderate complexity for Tyler Clients using the latest OLAP Cubes, Report Models, and transactional databases using MS Visual Studio.
• Work closely with Business Analysts and/or Software Engineers to ensure proper incorporation of new technologies when developing custom reports.
• Work closely with Implementation to ensure client delivery dates are met.
• Assure integrity of all solutions developed through coordination of testing and adherence to company standards and procedures.
• Publish all custom-developed reports to a shared document library.
• Occasionally travel to a client site to discuss reporting requirements.
• Manage workload and respond to changing deadlines independently.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills with a wide range of clients, both internal and external, from technical to non-technical and from management to clerical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or math, or comparable work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of previous experience.
• Solid understanding of Tyler’s business and client needs.
• Solid understanding of SQL and data modeling principles.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) is strongly desired; experience with other established business intelligence tools is useful (e.g. Cognos, MicroStrategy).
• Experience with SharePoint and SharePoint Excel Services.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
