About the role

MPS is seeking a self-motivated individual with a winning attitude to drive business and marketing of products in SSD/storage markets. This individual works closely with sales teams, customers, and internal product definers, systems & apps engineers to not only drive business and marketing activities, but also influence the direction of product development strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business and marketing activities for SSD/storage markets
  • Work closely with sales teams, customers, and internal product definers, systems & apps engineers
  • Manage and oversee the development of a team of engineers
  • Develop and promote product positioning and winning strategies
  • Engage and manage alignment with customers
  • Conduct competitive analysis
  • Manage pricing and troubleshoot issues
  • Define new products and ensure their successful launch
  • Communicate with field and factory application engineers, sales, product marketing team members, and marketing communications
  • Manage strategic business inquiries and opportunities
  • Lead and influence cross-functional team members
  • Bring products to market and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Background in power ICs, sales/marketing/applications of Power Management ICs
  • Experience with enterprise SSD/storage market
  • 5-10+ years experience in Marketing / Applications within an Analog IC Company
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/influence and build collaboration with cross-functional team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to successfully bring products to market
  • Ability to thrive in an extremely fast-paced, start-up environment
  • BSEE or equivalent required

Pay

The base salary range for this position in California is $150,000 - $220,000.
