Responsibilities

• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of SSAT sections, question types, test format, timing strategies, and scoring systems.
• Explain content areas, question patterns, common traps, and optimal approaches to prepare students for score improvement and test-day success.
• Teach efficient solution methods, time management, process of elimination, strategic guessing, and practice test analysis.
• Emphasize score optimization techniques and connect test strategies to student goals and target score requirements.
• Adapt instruction using official practice materials, diagnostic assessments, and personalized study plans to address individual weaknesses.
• Identify and explain concepts students commonly struggle with using multiple approaches tailored to different learning styles.
• Provide personalized instruction through 1-on-1 online tutoring or accept on-demand tutoring requests when available.

Requirements

• Minimum SSAT score of 2100.
• Proven track record of helping students achieve significant score gains.
• Familiarity with SSAT structure, common student challenges, and score improvement methods.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
