SS Aide II, Environmental Svcs

Responsibilities

• Provides housekeeping services, including light and heavy cleaning, in the Hospital and Medical Center facilities.
• May use commercial-type equipment including vacuums, scrubbing machines, strippers, waxers and buffers.
• Requires the ability to understand and carry out oral instructions.
• Stands, walks, bends and reaches continuously.
• Handles heavy and medium-weight material, equipment and supplies.
• Is normally exposed to refuse, dirt, dust, detergents, body wastes and odors indoors and outdoors.
• Candidates must be available for rotating shifts, and every other weekend and holiday.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to understand and carry out oral instructions.

• Is normally exposed to refuse, dirt, dust, detergents, body wastes and odors indoors and outdoors.
• Occasionally exposed to the possibility of contacts with infection and infectious diseases.
