SRE Platform Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a SRE Platform Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This role will focus on the reliability, scalability, and operational readiness of cloud-based platforms supporting mission-critical applications. You will partner closely with engineering and operations stakeholders to strengthen observability, streamline incident response, and improve overall service performance. The position also plays a key role in capacity planning, disaster recovery, and the introduction of new capabilities into production environments. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $114,600 – $252,100 annually Responsibilities Monitor and maintain production and non-production environments for enterprise applications Implement observability features such as alerting and dashboards to improve incident detection Lead incident response teams to restore service quickly and support root cause analysis Analyze performance metrics to identify and resolve bottlenecks and efficiency issues Support capacity planning and cost optimization for cloud resources Maintain disaster recovery and high availability architectures Coordinate operational readiness for new application capabilities Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 15 years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, systems administration, or a related field Ability to obtain Active DHS/EOD Clearance Extensive experience with SRE principles, including monitoring, observability, incident response, capacity planning, and performance optimization Proficiency with Azure cloud services and operational best practices Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple layers of complex technical environments Benefits Flexible time off benefits Access to learning resources for professional growth Comprehensive healthcare and wellness programs Financial and retirement support options Family support services and continuing education opportunities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
