Job Description Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster Job Summary Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to join a team. This role involves managing workers’ compensation claims of medium complexity and severity, including litigated files. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to claims resolution, and the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Compensation Package Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000+ (depending on experience)Work Arrangement: Hybrid (if near one of the office locations) or fully remote Responsibilities Investigate and analyze workers’ compensation claims of medium complexity/severity, including litigated files, to ensure proper resolution.Collaborate and communicate effectively with agents, policyholders, and internal stakeholders.Review and interpret commercial insurance policies to determine coverage and compensability.Develop and execute action plans to proactively resolve claims, evaluate damages, and negotiate settlements in a timely manner.Establish and maintain accurate reserves to reflect financial exposure.Engage and manage external resources as needed while monitoring and controlling associated costs.Collaborate with legal counsel to manage litigated claims.Maintain compliance with state licensing requirements and company guidelines. Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience handling workers’ compensation indemnity claims of medium complexity/severity.Jurisdictional expertise in Tennessee is required; experience with Mississippi claims is preferred.Active state licensing for Tennessee and other applicable states.Certification in AIC or SLA is preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Guidewire (Claims Center) is a plus.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Willingness to travel overnight up to 10% and daily between locations as needed.Must have access to a personal computer for remote work.
