Sr. Workday Business Analyst – Human Resources (HR) “Workday HCM” || Urgent Hiring

About the role

The Senior ERP Business Analyst serves as the bridge between HR stakeholders and IT, supporting ERP planning, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support. The role focuses on HR process improvement, requirements gathering, ERP functionality, testing, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Support HR functions including Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Position Management, Performance, Learning, Time Tracking, Leave, Compliance, and Talent Management.
• Support ERP implementations from planning through post-production, including configuration validation, UAT, and change readiness.
• Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to gather and document requirements.
• Develop current-state/future-state process maps, gap analyses, business cases, and solution recommendations.
• Maintain requirements traceability and facilitate consensus among HR, IT, and other stakeholders.
• Partner with implementation vendors and functional consultants to evaluate ERP functionality against business needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, HR, MIS, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience, including 3+ years supporting ERP implementations.
• Strong experience supporting HR operations and HRIS implementations.
• Experience with Workday HCM or a similar cloud ERP.
• Experience with BPMN/process modeling and BA artifacts such as RTM, functional requirements, process models, gap analyses, and test scenarios.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and consensus-building skills.
• Ability to promote standard ERP functionality and minimize unnecessary customization.

Qualifications

• Higher education experience is highly preferred.
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.

Preferred onsite in Dayton, OH; remote work may be considered.
