Sr. Workday Application Analyst, Finance & Adaptive, Grocery Tech Business Operations & Program Management

Responsibilities

• Technical System Management: Design, configure, and maintain Workday Finance and Adaptive modules, ensuring optimal system performance and alignment with business requirements.
• Provide technical expertise in financial system architecture.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Workday Finance functionality.
• Maintain system performance metrics and implement proactive measures to maintain high availability and user satisfaction.
• Financial Systems Expertise: Configure and maintain core financial components including Ledger Accounts, Cost Centers, Journal Entries, and Account Posting Rules. Manage Accounts Payable configurations and workflows within Workday. Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Requirements Gathering & Solution Design: Translate business needs into technical specifications and system configurations. Design scalable solutions that leverage Workday Finance and Adaptive capabilities. Evaluate system enhancement requests and provide recommendations on feasibility and implementation approach.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans. Utilize Kainos for automated testing to ensure regression coverage and system stability.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner with WWGS finance teams to understand business needs and deliver solutions. Coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders on integrations and enhancements. Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management, Information Systems, or other related discipline.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
• Experience writing and publishing technical documents or equivalent.
• 3+ years of stakeholder management experience.
• 5+ years of Workday Finance and/or Adaptive Project/Implementation experience.
