Clinic Management

The Area Manager is responsible for all aspects of clinic management and will communicate organizational information to and from PHCs supervisors, staff and providers regarding PHCs performance. The Area Manager will participate in the planning, and lead the implementation, of new technologies, systems, operating procedures and services to support clinical operations.

Personnel Management

• Recruitment, hiring, orientation, supervision, evaluation, and development of supervisors and personnel.
• Audits, revises, develops and implements clinic operations staffing models.

Planning

• Develops and implements strategic plans for the PHCs.
• Works with program managers to plan and direct program development.
• Works with other public health personnel to address community needs for health care.
• Oversight of the development of provider transition plans.

Financial Management

• Develops capital and operating budgets.
• Maintains and monitors all operating expenses.
• Applies financial principles and organizational financial goals to project management and systems review processes.
• Implements appropriate billing and charge strategies that enhance revenues.

Quality Management

• Maintains customer satisfaction and feedback trends.
• Maintains clinic finances and clinical practice quality.
• Applies this information to improve systems and sponsor quality improvement programs for all services.
