Responsibilities
- Creates visually engaging video content.
- Handles various production schedules and meets deadlines.
- Collaborates with executive- and senior-level staff to articulate, support, maintain, and elevate the brand.
- Leads the in-house video and animation team in filming, art direction, storytelling, and editing.
- Provides research and guidance into future strategic equipment investments.
- Designs and plans internal shoot layouts.
- Operates the camera on in-house shoots and provides production leadership.
- Lights, composes, and frames all shots to evolve the visual identity.
- Sets up and operates all necessary equipment for in-house shoots.
- Shoots engaging B-roll to support storytelling.
- Crafts engaging stories through creative and collaborative video editing.
- Uses color correction and grading techniques to enhance video impact.
- Develops and brings creative video concepts and stories to life.
- Interprets client feedback and collaborates with stakeholders to apply it to the edit.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Video editing software proficiency (Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
- Understanding of social media and how video performs.
- Proficiency and understanding of digital media trends and technology tools.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects while meeting all deadlines.
- Expert in audio and lighting.
- Ability to travel both in and out of state with vehicle appropriate to the needs of the position.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Art, Photography, or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant videographer/editor/animator experience in a professional environment.
Skills
- Video editing software (proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator).
