Sr. Utilities Accountant

Responsibilities

• Monthly Billing and Revenue: Timely and accurate utilities and renewable energy credits, and annual true up billings to tenants.
• Develop, utilize, and maintain utility billing system with specific attention to changes in tenants and data centers.
• Monthly Reporting: Flux analysis over varying periods of time. Balance sheet reconciliations for utilities, and renewable energy credits.
• Cost and Forecasting: Develop, utilize, and maintain data analytic tools to track and analyze patterns in usage, cost and revenue recovery by tenant and data center for purposes of reporting and projected future state forecast.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Partner with operations, finance, sustainability, legal to deliver best in class products.
• Help with the development, implementation, and maintenance of standard operating procedures document for each operating data center.

Requirements

• Hybrid - 3 days a week in our Denver office with site visits to data center facilities.
• Collaboration with internal teams.
• Deadline driven.
• Occasional nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in utility management, revenue management, or a similar role within the data center, facilities management, or energy sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (NetSuite, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present professional technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and corrective actions in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

Compensation Range: $94,340.00 - $104,940.00

Schedule

Hybrid - 3 days a week in our Denver office with site visits to data center facilities.
