Sr Unified Network Engineer - Cisco and Azure Networking - Hybrid

Job Summary

Join CommunityHealthNetwork, a healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional care backed by state-of-the-art technology. As a member of the Unified Network Engineering team, you will manage, support, and participate in upgrading Cisco network systems and Azure networking.

Responsibilities

• Takes ownership of Enterprise network technologies
• Participates in enterprise design and future planning sessions with Network and Unified Communications Architects
• Interacts with vendors on support cases
• Mentors Engineers and Analysts
• Participates in on-call rotation and travels to various Community Health Network sites

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in communications technology or its equivalent preferred
• Five (5) years or more years’ experience in Networking, Unified Communications and related technologies required
• Must obtain Cisco Certified Network Associate within 18 months of hire
• Exceptional trouble shooting skills and a commitment to excellence
• Firm understanding of networking principles to include functional understanding of TCP/IP, IP sub-netting, VLANs, Ethernet, DHCP, DNS, SIP and QoS
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE, Cisco Wireless 9800, Cisco ACI, or SolarWinds
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and Microsoft AZ-700 certificate preferred
• Understanding of virtual server environments
• Natural leadership skills, enjoys helping others sharpen and expand their skill sets
• Ability to handle multiple tasks competently
