Sr. Underwriter I - Northeast Region

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• 6+ years of commercial human services/social services/package underwriting experience as defined by division
• CPCU and/or AU designations preferred
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to be detail oriented in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel in assigned geographic territory on agency calls
• Knowledge of forms and coverages

Skills

Develops and maintains relationships with agency partners
Partners with Marketing to negotiate new and renewal business in support of profitable growth
Supports profit improvement initiatives in collaboration with the Marketing Department
