Sr. Trial Attorney

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Trial Attorney to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will represent the organization in complex litigation matters, serving as lead counsel or part of a team while managing cases with limited oversight. The attorney will partner closely with claims professionals and internal stakeholders to deliver sound case evaluations, timely updates, and effective trial strategy. This position also calls for strong professional relationships within the legal community, along with mentorship and guidance for junior attorneys and support staff. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $138,000 – $243,000 annually Responsibilities Demonstrate trial skills as lead counsel or as part of a team, managing cases with minimal oversight Utilize technology collaboratively for efficient case management Stay informed on legal and procedural changes impacting litigation strategies Provide sound case valuations and communicate updates promptly Establish professional relationships with senior partners and colleagues in the legal community Mentor junior attorneys and support staff, providing guidance and feedback Proactively meet communication expectations for clients and claims partners Qualifications Active CT law license required; MA or RI licensure is a plus Litigation experience in a variety of personal and commercial injury cases preferred Federal court admission is a plus; subrogation experience is preferred but not necessary Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school Typically requires over eight years of relevant civil litigation experience Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage Minimum of 18 days of paid time off per year 401(k) with company match and a company-paid pension plan Paid holidays and special paid time off days for lifetime and unity Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
