Sr. Transportation Engineer

Summary

The Senior Transportation Engineer will lead and supervise roadway design and plan development for a variety of transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead roadway design efforts for transportation infrastructure projects
• Supervise and mentor junior engineering staff
• Oversee project design, plan production, and quantity calculations
• Cook up with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project quality and timeliness
• Support project management tasks and contribute to business development efforts

Qualifications

• 8+ years of roadway design experience, with an emphasis on corridor modeling
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Experience with SCDOT plan production and quantity calculations
• Proficiency in MicroStation / GEOPAK (corridor modeling required)
• Familiarity with OpenRoads Designer (ORD) preferred
• Broad experience in MOT, Drainage, PMP, and Signing is a plus
