What You'll Do
- Combine external market research/analysis in conjunction with internal data to understand, predict, and/or improve logistics operations and support cost reduction.
- Support supply chain network analyses for potential new programs and strategic initiatives.
- Track KPI’s and metrics which support Supply Chain and Logistics related Scorecards.
- Build transportation-related reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Leverage data analysis to provide internal stakeholders with accurate transportation costs.
- Own monthly adjustments for freight factors and other related handling expenses.
- Identify opportunities to optimize inbound and outbound freight.
- Identify opportunities to convert non-managed freight to being managed by SiteOne.
- Support for monthly freight expense accruals.
- Provide support for cross-functional initiatives and other projects, as needed.
Skills We Are Seeking
- 3+ years of relevant experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain analytics.
- Advanced analytical abilities; can quickly understand and interpret data.
- Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, TMS systems, and other reporting platforms are required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in the Green Distribution, Irrigation, Nursery, Lawn and Garden, or Landscape Industry is a plus, but not required.
- 4-year degree from an accredited university.
