About the role
A Senior Transmission Engineer responsible for engineering, design, and analysis of transmission lines, as well as the development of comprehensive project packages.
Responsibilities
- Engineer and design high-voltage (69–500 kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD.
- Prepare construction documents including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation and assembly drawings.
- Conduct detailed analysis to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Provide field support during construction.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate work requiring independent evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Perform work involving conventional engineering practices and a variety of complex features; may coordinate departmental and divisional project studies and report preparation.
- Devise new approaches to problems encountered.
- Adhere to codes and standards while delivering innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 8–15 years of experience in transmission engineering.
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain it within the next 3 months.
Pay
$110,000 – $175,000, dependent on experience.
