Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with all levels of clients, vendors, consultants, etc. with clear and concise oral and written communications
- Recruit, train and manage project staff and resources
- Delegate responsibilities and oversee work on multiple complex projects
- Build and manage project financial reports, maximizing potential for savings
- Facilitate planning and scheduling sessions for large complex projects
- Develop and maintain master plans, reports, budgets and other functional deliverable/management tools
- Proactively identify risks and liability issues and mitigate exposure
- Cultivate and maintain client and industry relationships
- Proactively participate in business development opportunities including sales calls, proposal writing, presentations and contract negotiations
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members
- Interpret and translate the organizational strategy, ensuring team understanding of their role in accomplishing strategic goals
- Collaborate closely with business development to ensure seamless integration with sales strategies including performance metrics on your assigned projects, pursuits, and client deliverables
- Actively participate in opportunities to strengthen client, partner, and industry relationships that position Gilbane as the “Builder of Choice”
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in logistics or related field
- 10-15 years of project management experience, including 3-5 years of consulting experience
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience/Education
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel Powerpoint, Project and Visio)
- Knowledge of scheduling software, CADD, Visio, advanced Excel, Bluebeam, Procore and Smartsheet desirable
- Excellent listening skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Construction document and drawing literate with knowledge of all phases of construction
- Detailed knowledge of at least two TPM market sectors, such as healthcare, government/military, research and development/laboratory, or higher education
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex project teams
- Ability to demonstrate insight on TPM consulting strategy and interest in strategy formation
- Ability to travel up to 60% and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary
Benefits
Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team. The pay ranges from $125,000.00 -$165,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.
