Sr. Training Manager, Oncology - Franchise V

About the role
The Training Manager, Oncology, will be responsible for developing and delivering Oncology Training for commercial field representatives. Reporting to the Associate Director of Training, this person will work closely with training peers and global trainers to develop training related to disease, product, sales effectiveness, market knowledge, and operations for the Commercial organization.
Responsibilities
- Maintain subject matter expertise for disease states, products, and therapeutic areas
- Develop and execute training programs and initiatives with minimal guidance
- Design and enhance current curriculum to meet the needs of the Commercial organization
- Coordinate with Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Medical, and Regulatory to ensure accuracy of medical content and compliance with promotional policies for training materials
- Manage vendors during the development of training content and execution of contract requirements
- Perform project management functions during the development of training content
- Lead training meetings, including planning, logistics management, vendor monitoring, and participant conduct
- Partner with Marketing, Precision Medicine, and Commercial Leadership to develop training that meets brand objectives and coordinate the rollout of training materials for field colleagues
- Influence and lead without authority by collaborating with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Market Access, etc.) to provide highly effective, timely, innovative, and relevant training solutions
- Collaborate with external partners to provide best-in-class training deliverables
- Collaborate with partner company colleagues to ensure alignment of training strategy and tactics
- Build trust and credibility with Business Partners through regular interaction and proven working partnerships
- Act as a resource for field sales through active participation in all sales meetings and routine field rides
- Design and lead the execution of training work sessions at National Sales and POA Meetings
- Develop and maintain facilitation skills expertise in support of training content delivery
- Continually assess the organization’s training needs for both clinical fluency and development competencies and provide appropriate feedback for innovation
Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience preferred
- Training, Marketing, or Sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred
- Knowledge of Medical Oncology disease and Gynecologic oncology areas preferred
- Experience developing training tools to enhance clinical acumen is a plus
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, training design concepts, and platforms is a plus
- Exceptional ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at different levels of the organization
- High level of professionalism and the ability to excel in a complex cross-functional environment supporting collaborative project planning
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment

- Familiarity with AI and innovative technology platforms (iPad) and programs (e.g., MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerAutomate) is highly desirable
This is a headquarters-based position with preferred location at ABV1, open to remote with 50% required travel to headquarters.
