About the role

The Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) will lead Satellite RF product development, working closely with engineering teams to deliver complex projects that form part of Amazon's Low Earth Orbit satellite network. This role requires a deep understanding of RF systems, system architecture, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end Satellite RF product development programs from concept through production
  • Partner with engineering teams to drive technical solutions and optimize system-level trades
  • Develop structured risk management approaches and maintain accountability across design and production teams
  • Develop integrated schedules, dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs in a high-speed, high-complexity environment
  • Translate engineering concepts into executable plans, including hardware and software
  • Formulate plans for new product introductions, including DFM, manufacturing processes, test strategies, and automated test system development
  • Drive cross-team alignment on ownership, sequencing, and delivery while adapting quickly to changing conditions
  • Ensure deliverables meet customer, mission, and program requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 3+ years experience leading cross-functional engineering teams in delivery of products involving hardware and software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing cross-functional programs and release schedules
  • Proven track record managing complex programs at scale
  • Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineering to reach optimum system level trades and drive technical solutions
  • High sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
  • Proven ability to deal effectively with ambiguity while leading in a high-speed, agile environment
  • Proven leadership skills to lead team(s) without direct authority
  • Experience in development and test of high-speed digital interfaces, RF fundamentals, and operation of high-speed, high-frequency test equipment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
