Sr Technician Warehouse
This position is responsible for receiving and maintaining inventory of materials used by field crews, using inventory software to track items. The role assists the Supervisor Warehouse in ensuring proper storage and yard cleanliness, may support inspections and audits, and handles other laborer/material handler duties as assigned. Depending on location, it may also include administrative tasks such as collecting timesheets, verifying form accuracy, and supporting office functions.
Responsibilities
- Assist with inspections and prepare periodic audits as needed
- Assist with finding solutions to shortages and packaging material restocking needs
- Prepare orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements
- Check and verify inventory to ensure availability of needed stock
- Package and ship products according to packaging guidelines and practices
- Stock shelves in the warehouse and put away new materials
- Organize pick tickets and cross-check them with packing slips and work orders
- Receive, unload, and inspect shipments; confirm accuracy with packing slips and purchase orders
- Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift for loading and unloading materials
- Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/after-hours responsibilities as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Valid State driver’s license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening
- Must be able to attend and pass all company-required training as needed
- May be required to work after hours, on weekends, or be on-call as work is needed
- Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position
- Experience operating a forklift and pallet jack is preferred
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of warehouse or material handling experience related to organization and inventory of materials
- Any combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability to perform the designated job duties and responsibilities of the position
- Ability to manage or oversee a small group of Warehouse Technicians within a single location while maintaining accurate inventory records with a focus on time management

- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Pay
The Sr Technician Warehouse hourly wage range is $25.00 - $31.00 depending on experience.
