Sr Technician Process Engineering

Essential Responsibilities

• Completing a large variety of wet chemical analyses
• Preparation of analytical standard solutions and sample solutions
• Independently running instruments
• Basic maintenance of a diverse set of instruments
• Chemical and consumable ordering
• Chemical waste disposal

Other Responsibilities

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications

• Education - Associate's degree in related field
• Experience - Minimum two years required
• Fluent in English Language – written & verbal
• Physical Capacity Demands - Able to follow work and safety procedures for a laboratory environment
• Able to work with hazardous chemicals in a safe manner and follow analytical procedures
• Understand basic math and ability to perform simple calculations
• Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a SECRET level U.S. Government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Chemistry or a related discipline or equivalent military training/experience
• Prior experience in working in a laboratory environment
