Sr. Technician (Mechanical and Thermal Testing)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Technician to execute battery cell and component-level stress and reliability testing in support of engineering test programs. This role is onsite in Cupertino, CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and install test setups in accordance with technical standards
• Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Prepare test samples, execute tests, and record/report results
• Perform mechanical testing including shock, compression, bending, tensile, and drop testing
• Perform controlled heating testing

Requirements

• Experience with battery cell and component-level stress and reliability testing — shock, heating, impact
• Experience operating Instron testing equipment

Pay

The base compensation range for this role in Cupertino, CA is $53,580 – $122,400. Actual compensation may fall outside this range and is determined by factors such as geographic location, education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, seniority, performance, market conditions, and internal pay equity. This role may also be eligible for variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions depending on position and applicable laws. It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted range.
