Responsibilities
- Maintains production process instrumentation supporting production schedules and quality requirements (may include additional operations equipment).
- Follows Company policy and SOPs relative to all aspects of this position including financial, environmental health and safety, and training.
- Coordinates with Planner/Scheduler and supervisors to ensure adequate scheduling information is communicated and work orders are completed within compliance windows.
- Troubleshoots and implements corrective action where instrumentation experiences performance issues.
- Supports training of production & maintenance personnel relative to operations and care of instrumentation.
- Assists and supports engineering projects involving instrumentation applications relative to design, scope, performance parameters, testing, and implementation.
Requirements
- Two-year Trade School/Associate's degree in calibration, electrical, electro-mechanical, or relevant degree with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in calibration/calibrating equipment in a manufacturing or similar environment, OR
- High school degree or GED and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in calibration/calibrating equipment in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of pharma process and utility systems.
- ISA CCST certification, ASQ CCT certification, or Commercial/military PMEL/TDME experience.
- Understanding of PLC systems, BMS & SCADA systems, and ISO 17025.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and database applications.
- Experience with SAP, CMX, or Trackwise.
