Key job responsibilities

  • You manage large, complex New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, delivering critical solutions, significant improvements, new mechanisms, or deprecating systems that are no longer needed.
  • You successfully manage all stages (from concept to launch).
  • You understand the architecture of the hardware systems you own.
  • You influence team technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions.
  • You communicate ideas effectively, verbally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences including Directors and VPs.
  • You foster a constructive dialogue, harmonize discordant views, and lead the resolution of contentious issues (build consensus).
  • You partner successfully with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams.
  • You routinely and efficiently deliver the right things.
  • You define clear goals and objectives.
  • You drive crisp decisions in your program area about what projects move forward and in what priority order.
  • You proactively identify risks and bring them to the attention of your team and stakeholders with plans for mitigation before they become roadblocks.
  • You are a simplifier. You judiciously add, refine, and remove procedures. By applying project management best practices, you increase the productivity and effectiveness of the teams you work with.

    Basic Qualifications

    • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
    • 7+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience
    • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
    • Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering
    • Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
    • Experience managing complex hardware systems and programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 7+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
    • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
    • Extensive experience managing complex hardware systems and programs, building processes, complicated schedules with many dependencies, identifying risks, trade-offs, designing 2-way doors
    • Experience owning and driving complex server system NPIs such as compute, gpu (AI/ML), or storage servers
