Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive industrial automation architectures, integrating PLCs, robotics, machine vision, sensors, motion control, and cloud/edge technologies to address customer requirements.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, requirements analysis, and solution design workshops to identify automation opportunities and define implementation strategies.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert in industrial networking, functional safety, IIoT platforms, and digital transformation, clearly articulating Lattice’s value proposition.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and external partners to co-design scalable automation solutions, ensuring design integrity and alignment with product roadmaps.
- Engage with OEMs, system integrators, and industrial customers to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions, proofs of concept, and reference architectures.
- Drive technical narratives and marketing strategies that demonstrate Lattice’s leadership in automation, reliability, and digital innovation.
- Represent Lattice in industry forums and standards organizations to influence ecosystem direction and promote open, interoperable solutions.
- Support business development by identifying new opportunities, shaping go-to-market strategies, and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical, Computer, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of experience in industrial automation architecture, business development, or solution design.
- Expertise in automation platforms, industrial networking, functional safety, security, and IIoT technologies.
- Proven ability to translate complex architectures into actionable business strategies and drive ecosystem adoption.
- Experience collaborating with OEMs, system integrators, and technology vendors on validation and deployment of automation solutions.
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills, with a track record of influencing customers and industry partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large-scale automation orchestration, robotics integration, or IIoT platform deployment.
- Familiarity with PLC/CPLD/FPGA technologies in control, telemetry, safety, security, Industrial HMI, Edge AI, and Smart Sensor applications.
- Published contributions to industry standards, specifications, or automation best practices.
Pay
Lattice has a market-based pay structure which varies by location. The base pay range is a guideline, and compensation reflects the cost of labor in the U.S. geographic market based on the role's location. Pay within these ranges varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant work experience. For candidates who receive an offer, the starting salary will be determined by qualifications such as skill level, competencies, and work location.
Base Pay Range: $273,000
In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for variable/incentive compensation and/or equity.
