Overview
The Senior Technical Delivery Manager is a leader responsible for orchestrating end-to-end delivery across WWT’s full portfolio of services. This role ensures operational excellence, drives measurable business outcomes, and serves as the executive point of accountability for delivery quality, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and growth enablement within our largest and most strategic accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary delivery leader and trusted advisor for WWT’s strategic Federal and DoD customers.
- Build and maintain trusted and long-term relationships with government stakeholders, client executives, and partner organizations.
- Lead internal and external executive governance, steering committees, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and strategic planning sessions.
- Align WWT capabilities and services with customer mission priorities and business objectives.
- Anticipate client needs, identify risks, and proactively develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Inspire teams across WWT’s sales, project management, and delivery teams to ensure a cohesive OneWWT approach leading to high-level business outcomes and customer delight.
Program & Delivery Oversight
- Provide end to end oversight of complex, multi-tower programs spanning:
- Infrastructure modernization (networking, compute, storage, data center)
- Multi-cloud architecture, migration, and operations (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Security architecture, zero trust, SOC modernization, and threat operations
- Application development, modernization, and DevOps
- Digital workspace, collaboration, and end user experience
- Automation, AIOps, observability, and platform engineering
- Integrate delivery across WWT’s ATC labs, integration centers, consulting teams, and OEM/ISV partners to ensure seamless execution.
- Establish and maintain program governance, KPIs, dashboards, and quality standards consistent with delivery expectations.
- Drive risk management, issue resolution, and cross functional alignment across engineering, consulting, supply chain, and partner teams.
- Ensure delivery quality, customer satisfaction, and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Leverage WWT's ATC, Integration Centers, consulting teams, and technology partners to accelerate solution delivery and customer outcomes.
Presales & Growth Enablement
- Partner with Account Managers, Client Directors, and Consulting leadership to shape opportunities across Federal portfolios.
- Translate customer challenges into executable solution approaches and delivery roadmaps.
- Support pre-sales activities including workshops, briefings, executive presentations, and solutioning sessions.
- Develop Statements of Work (SOWs), estimates, delivery models, and risk assessments.
- Serve as the delivery voice during deal shaping, ensuring commitments made during presales can be delivered with excellence and profitability.
- Contribute to account planning, pipeline development, and expansion opportunities.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Own revenue, margin, forecasting, backlog, and cost management for assigned accounts.
- Ensure delivery aligns to contractual commitments and profitability goals.
- Manage commercial constructs including SOWs, MSAs, change orders, and consumption-based service models.
- Partner with sales leadership to identify and pursue growth opportunities across consulting, integration, and technology services.
People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing delivery teams across engineering, consulting, PMO, and operational functions.
- Promote accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Model WWT's core values and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Operational Excellence & Innovation
- Champion delivery best practices across WWT’s consulting, engineering, and integration capabilities.
- Leverage WWT’s Advanced Technology Center (ATC) to accelerate solution validation, prototyping, and customer innovation.
- Promote automation and modern delivery models to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Drive standardization and scalability across engagements while tailoring approaches to client context.
- Ensure compliance with WWT’s risk, quality, and security standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance; SCI eligibility preferred.
- 15+ years leading complex Federal IT programs, including at least 5 years in senior delivery leadership roles.
- Executive presence with experience influencing General Officers, SES leaders, CIOs, and senior government stakeholders.
- Proven success delivering complex infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, or application modernization initiatives in DoD environments.
- Deep understanding of Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Deep understanding of key DoW operational cybersecurity relationships (U.S. Cyber Command, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Army Cyber Command, Fleet Cyber Command, Air Forces Cyber, Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command, and Coast Guard Cyber Command).
- Fundamental understanding of key DoW operational cybersecurity processes (Risk Management Framework (RMF), Authority to Operate (ATO) process, and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) implementation).
- Fundamental understanding of key DoW mission enablers (Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability (JWCC), DoDNet modernization, zero trust implementation, Enterprise Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM), Command and Control (C2), Mission Partner Environment (MPE)).
- Fundamental understanding of DoW’s acquisition processes and procedures (Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA)).
- Demonstrated financial acumen including P&L ownership, forecasting, commercial management, and DoW financial planning processes, procedures and timelines.
- Experience leading large, matrixed teams across consulting, engineering, and operations, or similar complex DoW environment.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting DISA, Air Force, Space Force, Army, or other major DoD organizations.
- Big 4 or top-tier consulting experience.
- Familiarity with Cisco, Dell, NetApp, VMware, AWS, Microsoft, Google, Palo Alto, and F5 technologies.
- MBA, MS, PMP, SAFe, ITIL, cloud certifications, or equivalent advanced credentials.
