About the role

The Sr. Tech Business Developer will be a key member of the Global Fleet & Product (GFP) team, with responsibility for influencing business and product strategy (as a trusted advisor) and negotiating a wide range of deal types in collaboration with micromobility product and technology teams. These efforts will culminate in the launch of new products and services that directly impact delivery operations, including deployment of micromobility vehicle technologies.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead required diligence, develop the deal structure and negotiating strategy, and own the negotiations end-to-end to closure.
  • Interface with C-Suite executives from companies of all sizes (from start-ups to industry leaders) and earn trust across multiple internal Amazon teams (e.g., finance, legal, corporate development, operations, etc.) to achieve goals.
  • Have familiarity with a range of deal types, including direct experience with product development, technology licensing, and integration.
  • Be highly analytical and resourceful, able to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines.
  • Have a proven track record of end-to-end deal ownership and success delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
  • 5+ years of working with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies, including, but not limited to, Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations experience
  • 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience
  • 5+ years of in program management, workforce strategy development, or metrics-driven decision making experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience explaining complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences
  • Experience leading complex, multi-year initiatives that may be cross-functional and/or span business and technology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
  • MBA
