About the role
Arium Networks builds and operates small cell networks that are shaping the future of wireless connectivity. Areas of involvement include sales, use and similar transaction-based taxes, related to purchasing and sales activities.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for monthly compliance preparation by outside consultants and review of sales, use, and other transaction taxes, including reconciliations, data files, returns and remittances.
- Responding to and resolving transaction tax notices.
- Registration of new business entities and reviewing nexus.
- Review requested billing corrections and tax credit requests.
- Setup and routine maintenance of transaction tax software and its interaction with the general ledger software.
- Absorb or assist the Manager in transaction tax audits.
- Assist with other duties and projects related to transaction taxes as needed.
Requirements
- Four (4) to six (6) years of experience in transaction tax or tax-related matters.
- Knowledge and experience with accounting systems and software.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Ability to work with people in an office environment.
- Ability to interact professionally on a daily basis with vendors, customers, and other departments.
- Personal computer skills and application knowledge, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to learn Arium Networks proprietary software.
Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- Working knowledge of Vertex, Avalara or similar sales tax software application.

Pay
The pay range offered for this position is $67,800 - $93,300 annually.
Schedule
This role falls into our hybrid work model, which is 2-days work from home (Friday and Monday) and 3-days in the office (Tuesday through Thursday) to optimize collaboration, relationship building and key stakeholder engagement and may require some travel as needed.
