Sr Talent Acquisition Specialist
About the role
Evaluates current staffing needs and provides guidance and strategies for local hiring to support the recruiting efforts for a particular market.
Responsibilities
- Establishes applicant sources by developing and maintaining a talent pipeline through various community outreach networks, professional channels, advertisement, and referral programs.
- Implements broader talent acquisition strategies within local markets and utilizes applicant tracking systems to monitor recruitment status for external candidates.
- Retains hiring, selection, and personnel records in compliance with company, EEO/AAP, and other governmental agency requirements.
- Operates as a team lead for training in recruitment processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree/equivalent.
- Minimum Experience: Two (2) years recruitment, related human resources, or FedEx operations management experience.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding employment and general human resources practices.
- Knowledge of recruitment and applicant tracking systems required.
- Strong Communication, Organizational, And Interpersonal Skills Required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working with the Pilot Records Database and regulatory forms, Paradox, familiarity with aviation and proficient in Excel.

Employees will be required to work at the FedEx location five days a week.
