Sr Systems Test Engineer

About the role

The Sr Systems Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of software systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test cases and scripts using industry-standard tools.
• Perform unit, integration, system, and regression testing on software applications.
• Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects in software products.
• Document test results and provide feedback to developers for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other QA engineers and stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing strategies and priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, preferably in a professional environment.
• Strong proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with database testing and SQL.
• Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Good understanding of network protocols and security best practices.
