Sr. Systems Sales Engineer

The Systems Engineering & Solution Sales team at Nutanix is a dynamic and customer-focused group that plays a critical role in driving the company's mission to transform the way organizations work through innovative cloud technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and articulate the features and benefits of Nutanix solutions to customers.
- Size, configure, and recommend Nutanix solutions based on customer needs and technical requirements.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with sales counterparts to develop account plans and create proposals for potential clients.
- Lead technical evaluations and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements for prospective customers.
- Manage complex accounts and larger sales transactions, ensuring customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Provide mentorship and support to new hires and peers within the presales team.
- Collect and communicate customer feedback to enhance Nutanix's ecosystem and product offerings.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, with 3+ years as a Presales Engineer.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on technical aptitude with adaptability to market demands.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
- Strong analytical skills for solving complex problems with clear solution strategies.
- Experience in data center and cloud technologies (storage, virtualization, automation frameworks).

Pay
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 196,000 and USD $ 294,000 per year. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Schedule
This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
