Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems and circuits to support advanced military networking technologies.
- Create and evaluate technical specifications, schematics, and reports for electrical components.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with software and hardware components.
- Ensure seamless operation and compatibility of electrical systems with existing military infrastructure.
- Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure they meet required performance standards and specifications.
- Analyze test data and troubleshoot issues, implementing effective solutions.
- Prepare detailed documentation for designs, test procedures, and validation reports.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all electrical engineering activities, changes, and improvements.
- Ensure all designs and systems comply with military standards and regulations as well as safety protocols.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to integrate cutting-edge solutions.
- Work closely with project managers and other engineers to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members as needed.
Qualifications
- BS, minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in the Department of Defense contracting market of major weapon systems product development and acquisitions.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, and modern networking technologies.
- Familiarity with military standards and protocols related to networking and communication systems.
