Sr. Systems Administrator
BI&A is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to manage technical support operations and lead a team providing 24/7 assistance to computer system and network users. This role oversees help desk services, may include data center management, and ensures efficient resolution of IT issues while maintaining service level agreements.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- 10 years of experience in Systems Administration roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities. A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience, and a Master’s Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience.
- TS/SCI with an active CI Polygraph.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, servers, and end-user technologies.
- Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and/or Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM) tools.
- Understanding of network protocols, email systems, firewalls, and backup solutions.
- Experience with Active Directory, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules, including potential shift work.
Qualifications
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Red Hat Certified System Administrator).
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing demands.
- Experience with ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira Service Management).
- Data center management experience.
Pay
$136,000 - $166,000 (Contingent upon candidate experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations). The position is contingent upon program award.
